A Little Beacon Blog is an informational source for local area history, current affairs for those living and those visiting the area. They are a go-to for local government, local businesses, and local events in Beacon, NY and the greater Hudson Valley. They utilize their website as well as social media to reach their target audience.
Project Details
As civil unrest came yet again to the forefront of media outlets across the globe in the wake of the murder of George Floyd, A Little Beacon Blog wanted to highlight minority owned businesses in the Hudson Valley. In curating the Black Owned Business Directory, they needed a logo to accompany it. That's when ALBB reached out to The Hyacinth Group––Black Owned & Women Led––and we were honored to be able to contribute.
Process
First we scheduled an inspiration + research review with the client. Then we began in-depth research in order to find the perfect inspiration for the logo. We developed several iteration options and presented them to the client, which they loved!
