Client

Satsko Watanabe has delighted New Yorkers with her traditional Japanese cooking since she opened Sake Bar Satsko in 2004. Now, she is sharing her homemade Gyoza (Japanese dumplings) with the world. Using a time-honored family recipe passed down from her mother, Satsko carefully crafts each Gyoza with quality meats and the freshest vegetables. The result is a Gyoza so flavorful you cannot help come back for more.

Project Details

Satsko is a New York restaurateur who wants to expand her business by selling her products wholesale so people worldwide can enjoy them. For this project, she wanted to create a sell sheet for her first offering, handmade gyoza. The goal of the sell sheet was to show vendors what sets her gyoza apart from the rest: the fact that she proudly handcrafts each dumpling from a time-honored family recipe.

Process

The client provided sample sell sheets that captured the look she wanted. She also submitted bullet points of what she wanted the copy to convey and worked closely with the copywriter to ensure messaging was on-brand. We then created an original design highlighting key information (such as nutrition and ingredients) and featured images of her tasty Gyoza.
